Hei Lok ("we", "us", "our") is a senior living residence located at 142 Argyle Street, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. We take the privacy of our residents, their families and website visitors seriously, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong ("the Ordinance").

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information when you submit an enquiry form on our website, telephone us directly or visit in person. The categories of information we may collect include:

• Messages or notes submitted through our contact form

Legal basis: We process your information on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form), legitimate interest (improving our services and responding to enquiries) and, in due course, the contract formed when a resident joins Hei Lok.

Retention: Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months. Resident records are kept for the duration of their stay and for seven years thereafter in accordance with standard business practice and potential legal requirements.

• To respond to your enquiry about our living plans or arrange a viewing
• To prepare for and manage a resident's stay, including dietary preferences and room arrangements
• To communicate service updates, billing information and relevant notices

We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing. If you would like to receive occasional updates from Hei Lok, we will ask for your explicit consent separately.
